IK The SKP has begun today to report even positive cases with Covid 19 being diagnosed by private labs.

However, it is not known how many tests these private institutions have conducted. I The KKP says the total of people who have resulted in positive these labs is 141 cases.

Privates are obliged to report to the minister and IKSHPK on daily basis for testing the method PCR and the serological tests they performed. But for the number of tests, these two institutions place their burden on each other.

The Health Ministry on Monday (August 10th) has started with the licensing of private health institutions to conduct serological tests and tests with the PCR method for COVIED-19, the disease that causes Coronavirus.

Initially, 29 private health institutions have been licensed, and then others. Meanwhile, recent licenses were made today (August 18th), bringing them to 69 private labs licensed for serial and virological tests for coronarys in Kosovo.

But not all of them run tests with the PCR method which shows exactly if one person is infected with Coddy-19. Most of these labs run serological tests that determine the presence of antigens and antibodys for SARS Cov-2 in the human body that it happens to be understood by this test if someone has faced Covid 19.

In spite of this, more than a month has been done since PCR tests and private health institutions have started in Kosovo, but it is still not known how many tests have been conducted in these private institutions, reporting from today only a total number of positive cases with Avid 19.

Health organs in Kosovo have still not provided a single official record for testing figures for Covid-19 that have been conducted in private health institutions. The latter are required to report to the Ministry of Health and IKSHPK on a daily basis for testing the method PCR and the serological tests they performed.

E The National Institute of Public Health is responsible for publishing these statistics.

In a response to the Express, MSHC officials have stated that the IKSHPK has drafted the reporting form which it has assigned to the Private Health Institutions licensed for serial and molecular testing, and these institutions complement them with requested data and send them to IKSHPK.

“molecular Testet (PCR) will certainly be included in IKSHPL reports, since the same is carried out by licensed IPSH”, the answer to the MSHCH.

Even so, they say they don't know the data of how many tests with the method The PCR has been conducted in private institutions recently.

This information may have I KSHPK, where should I report PSH, and since it is the beginning of the process, even the institute should monitor the quality of reporting and confirmation of data”, they are declared by the MSH.

But at the National Institute of Public Health, they refuse to be declared for the job.

Express has been sending questions to the IKSHPK for more than a week. But the same have refused to answer. They have even said that they should speak about it from the Ministry of Health.

Despite this, day-to-day IKSHPKA reports do not provide details on test figures in private institutions for COVID-19. Even test numbers move significantly daily.

Some labs in Pristina, licensed for serological testing for coronarys, which have started working, say prices range from 25 to 50 euros, depending on the number of tests for antibodies.

On August 10th, the Ministry of Health began issuing licenses for private health institutions to have them run tests for COVID-19. Previously, only the Kosovo National Public Health Institute (IKSHPK) performed this service.

So far, only two private health institutions have been licensed to conduct virological tests with the PCR method. This test shows whether the virus is active, analyzing the tissue from the nose and throat.
