French infectionologist Didier Raul has again sparked controversy after declaring that the world no longer needs a vaccine because the virus is no longer harmful as before.

“If the disease remains as it is now, I don't think anyone will want to vaccinate against something that doesn't kill”, the French infection said, causing multiple controversy

He also stated that the virus is far more harmless now than in February or March.

At the same time, the famous professor from Marseille pointed out that this does not mean that he opposes vaccine.

Raul explains the recent rise in the number of positive cases with the fact that more people are now being tested.

“This disease is no more deadly than other viral respiratory diseases, the mortality rate is below two percent”, said Raul, who is the director of the Hawaiian Infectious Mediterranean Clinic.

The problem, according to him, is born because this virus is unknown. He didn't stand the “line” even when it's about masks. Raoul, however, believes that it would be better if it was recommended to keep them, not to impose them as forced, believing that this could create conflicts in society.

Many of his French colleagues criticise him for what he said, stressing that the flu and Covid-19 cannot be the same, and they have criticised him for these statements just as many states are preparing to face a second wave of coronobris.
