Russia says it is developing a new Covid-19 vaccine to protect domestic cats and vizots on farms.
Rosselkhonnadzor, Russia's veterinarian overseer, announced that he is working for a vaccine for animals expected to be tested in the autumn, British media write.
This decision follows after home cat cases began to appear with Avid-19 in Moscow and Tyumen.
“We are working on creating an animal vaccine against the new coronary infection”, said organisation head Sergey Dankvert.
The head of Russia's Gamaleya Research Institute for Epidemiology and Microbiology, Professor Alexander Gintsburg, the leading scientist behind the human vaccine greeted by Vladimir Putin, said in several interviews that “West is wanting to buy the wisest heads of” countries.
