FC Pristina President Remzi Ejupi has confessed about the situation created today in Gibraltar.
Today's first-ever match to be played between Lincoln Red Imps and FC Pristina in the League of Europe has been cancelled after positive cases at the Pristina club.
Ejupi, the first of FC Pristina, has said that tomorrow the team will undergo tests again for COVID-19 in Pristina.
We will run tests tomorrow as soon as we arrive in Pristina and compare tests with what we did in Gibraltar”, Ejupi said.
“The footballers weren't kicked out of the hotel, but they had it released at 1500 to go to the stadium. We have contacted the match delegate and he says we have adhered to protocol”, he indicated.
The great concern was with the minister of sports in Gibraltar, he was very concerned. The fight was supposed to take place, let's see what it decided. U n EFA by tomorrow”
He cited, among other things, the fact that most Pristina football players spend time in cafes and prefer to get out of their homes.
I've seen and heard that [Pristina's] players, even though we've been trying to convince them to stay home and be as careful as they are, most of them have spent their time on the box”, he said.
