Today, Hoti has visited the municipality of Dragas, where he met farmers and visited the factory “MEKA”
Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj, the ministers Arba Abrashi, Vesel Krasniqi and Besian Mustafa, the mayor of the Dragas municipality, Saban Shaban Shaban, the zone's deputies, and institutional representatives of the central and local level, Prime Minister Hoti initially inspected the works on the Zur-Dragash road.
Prime Minister Hoti said this route is of national importance, a two-dear project amounting to about 7m euros. “There has been a lot of delays, some technicals and certain procedures, but I believe that the minister is taking care to increase dynamics and close this project in terms of opital”, Prime Minister Hoti said, stressing that the road is of particular importance because it links all this three to tourism issues and livestock issues, but also about Albania and North Macedonia.
Prime Minister Hoti then continued his visit to the meat processing plant “MEKA”, where it is hosted by owner Burim Piraj, who has announced to the prime minister about the successes and challenges this company has.
Prime Minister Hoti has praised the owner of Piraj for the healthy “business and with the best standards of quality and ethics at work”.
Likewise, Prime Minister Hoti said that opportunities will be seen to help this business with Pacon for economic recovery, through which credit obtaining and financing will be facilitated for businesses.
The next visit to Dragash, the prime minister made at the “centre”, where he was hosted by owner Masar Piraj and the textile factory “Invers 1” of the owner Emin, who has promised that the government would stay close, supporting all businesses in their activity.
At the end of his stay in Dragash, Prime Minister Hoti held a meeting with Gora area farmers in the village of Krushevo, who called for the prime minister's support for investments in the area, stressing that mountain tourism and infrastructure are necessary for this region.
While Prime Minister Hoti said the government would support residents of this area in developing mountain tourism through subsidies and grants, as well as improving overall infrastructure.
