A priest on the island of Kalymnos posted on Facebook a status dedicated to the lady's holiday and urged believers not to wear masks because, as he stated, it would be “that concerned the Virgin Mary”, writes Grecreter.
Our mother wants to see our faces, she wants to see our faith,” The priest wrote.
Police refused to disclose his name, and he was arrested for delivering a false news that endangers public health. He was released after the hearing, and the trial is scheduled for October 8th.
