Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has commemorated the national issue event Skender Ceku on the 22nd anniversary of the fall.
Through a Facebook post, he said Skender Ceku was an early activist and the bright figure of our national movement for freedom and independence.

THE CECH was an early activist and a brilliant figure of our national movement for freedom and independence. He made a valuable contribution to the early supply of KLA units. But his contribution was enormous even when he joined our sons and daughters at the fronts of war early in 1998. Skender Ceku stood out for great courage and for rare combat skills until he passed away on August 17th 1998, following the severe wounds he had suffered in the battle against Serbia's police and military forces.
