US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said he hopes he will see other Arab states follow the decision of the United Arab Emirates, with the goal of normalising relations with Israel.
Pompeii has said that such a thing would not only enhance stability in the Middle East but also improve people's lives.
However, he has added that the United States will ensure that Israel maintains military advantage.
Pompeii made these statements after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel, thus starting a five - day visit to Sudan, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump has brokered reaching a historic agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
This has only been the third agreement ever signed between Israel and an Arab state.

Under the deal, these two states have agreed to full diplomatic ties in exchange for ambassadors, launch of wind flights and open economy.
Israel has also said it will suspend the plan for annexing some parts of the occupied West Coast, action many believe has overwhelmed prospects for achieving peace with Palestinians.
This, as Palestinians have accused United Arab Emirates officials of treason.
In past agreements, only improved relations between Israel and the Arab nations were promised under conflict-ending agreements.
