The launch of the investigation has confirmed the Kosovo Police, but except the case is being investigated by the Economic Crimes Investigation Sector, no additional details have been provided.
“In terms of information/the case in question, we inform you that several investigative actions have been taken and the subject is being investigated by the Sector for Investigation of Economic Crimes under the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption”, KTV reports.

The Ministry of Finance and Transfers since May had declared he was aware of the possible misuse of the Emergency Pack.
At the time, the Ministry had declared that it had information on the benefits of public sector companies that put workers on the list to receive the 170 euros of the Emergency Pacos, without right. They had also said that they were aware of companies that had forced workers to work from home, yet they applied for those tools.
Following the delay due to the failure to review the budget, the execution of the Pack Emergency Tools has begun last Monday.
The Fiscal Emergency Package approved in March by the Kurti Government totals 179.6m euros, while its goal was aid to citizens and businesses affected by COVID-19.
