Kosovo's Afarism Oda repeats for the last time the demand for lowering the interest rate, thus sending the letter to Central Bank of Kosovo Governor Fehmi Mehmeti.
Lowering the interest rate to at least 1.7% and pressure on commercial banks for lowering banking interest, lending to new businesses as well, and increasing loan payments for businesses are a pressing need for businesses, taking into account the state's lack of support now and 5 months for covering operational spending, including wages, taxes, investments, etc.
Kosovo's Afarism Oda stressed that one of its proposals for the recovery package is also lowering the interest rate so that commercial banks can afford to lower their interest rates.
Given the financial difficulties of businesses in this situation and the warnings of bankruptcy of hundreds of businesses, the OAK considers that lowering the interest rate would be a great help to businesses so that they can operate.
In this letter of Kosovo's Afarism, the Oda of Afarism expresses concern that the effects of pandemic are expected to be noticed after its particularly economic overcoming, in this case it finds it necessary to provide many mechanisms for greater support of the business community so that they can maintain stability and economic functioning.
