Pristina's “Zahir Pajaziti” Square has become the discovery of the memorial plaque dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the visit to Kosovo of the first US Senate delegation, led by Senator Bob Dole.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Melza Haradinaj- Stublla, has said this day marks the big turn for Kosovo's freedom and independence.
“It's a special emotion, I've been only six years old, while you have the fresh memory of this day where the US Senate delegation under strict security measures of Serbian forces has come and visited Kosovo and suggested that democracy and freedom for the Albanian people are coming, and this marks the big turn for freedom and independence of the Republic of Kosovo”, she has said.
Currently, there is also an exhibition of photographs for the 30th anniversary of the visit to Kosovo by the first delegation of the Senate of the United States, led by Senator Bob Dole.
