Young man's body found from Oppo, who died on Macedonian lake

A young man from Dragashi has lost his life in a North Macedonian lake located on the border of the Sharr Mountains.

He and two of his friends broke into the lake yesterday to bathe, but he had failed to get out.

Macedonian police have found the young man's lifeless body today after being informed of the tragic case.

The case has been discussed by Klonkosova.tv also Kosovo Police spokesman Daut Hoxha, who said Kosovo authorities would also undertake actions that have competence.

“By 28.08.2020 around 14:20 p.m., information has been accepted that some people had gone to the resort lakes, the border area with northern Macedonia. In the meantime, one of them reportedly had stepped into lake to cool off and had stopped coming out. Immediately, the police station in Dragash, as well as Macedonian-veried authorities, has been announced, since it is suspected that the lake is located on their territory and in case they proceed to the authorities of northern Macedonia. Kosovo police have undertaken and will take necessary actions that fall into our scope and competence to provide any co-operation or assistance required in clarifying this case”.
