KEDS investing close to 1m euros in Pec

As in other towns. KEDS is continuing to invest significantly in modernising the network even in Pec. Over 12 thousand consumers will have modern networks and higher standards. Only this year, nearly 1m euros have been allocated, of which over 22 projects will be realised. More than 70,000 metres of cables will be extended in the low and medium-level tension network and more than 100 old pillars with new concrete pillars will be replaced. In some locations, the pillars will be completely removed while the network is located underground.

Through these investments, comprehensive modernisation of the network is being allowed for consumers to receive quality and safe electricity services.

KEDS has invested in many projects in Pec over the past few years. In 2019, KEDS had completed new and modern installations of 35kV lines, meanwhile, in Decan, had completed the work of setting up alternative cables, creating stability and much greater energy supply security for consumers in case of any deterioration.

These investments are the living of KED's commitment to getting closer to Kosovo citizens and constantly improving services for them. Today, 7 years after, KED has invested around 150m euros, and hundreds of thousands of consumers have significantly more quality services and better lives.
