Hyseni in Washington, meets with senior American officials

Hyseni has confirmed that this morning will begin scheduled meetings.

Hyseni is expected to meet with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeii and with US Special Representative for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer.

On 24 July, Hyseni in Brussels had met with Assistant Secretary-in-chief for Europe and Eurasia of the State Department Philip Reeker, with whom he had talked about the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process.

Also Hyseni has met with Enver Hoxhaj of the PDK and Fatmir Limaj in search of a unity in the dialogue process.

Skender Hyseni for the position he has been appointed has received the backing of Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and the country's president, Hashim Thaci.
