Government Approves Bill for ratification of loan agreement between EU, Kosovo

The government of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, in accordance with the Government's Labour Rule, has held corresponding meetings in which it has adopted the Bill for Ratification of the Loan Agreement between the European Union and Kosovo for macro-financial assistance to Kosovo.
The loan agreement between the European Union and Kosovo for macro-financial assistance to Kosovo is signed on July 30th 2020.
With the adoption of the draft law on ratification of this agreement, which will be prosecuted for approval in the Republic of Kosovo Assembly, the implementation of macro-financial assistance to the Republic of Kosovo will begin at the maximum amount of 100m euros in loan form.
This assistance has also been approved in the European Parliament and the Council of Europe, following the Kosovo Government's request for macro-financial assistance from the European Union in connection with the COVID pandemic-19 in April of this year.
