Kosovo's Correcting Service has announced that from the date, August 24th 2020, as a safeguard clause against COVID-19 pandemic will begin with allowing free visits, family visits and lawyers' visits.
The announcement made to the media says that as a comforting measure, for family visits we will begin with accepting only a close family member.
Also, according to procedures, there will be free visits to specific locals for which the visitor is obliged to present the negative test for Covid 19, no older than 72 hours. By this date, the SHKK will allow attorneys' visit only for detained persons. During their visit, lawyers are obliged to have IDs worth” with them, says the report.
The SKK further stresses that during their visit, each family/ lawyer is obliged to disinfect at the entrance of the correcting institutions, and also to wear a protective mask with him.
Kosovo's corrective service has begun facilitating measures in co-operation with the Prison Health Department.
In the news, Kosovo's Correcting Service will reportedly continue institutional co-ordination with relevant institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and will keep public opinion on the ongoing steps.
