Erdogan calls Thaci on the phone, congratulates him for Bajram

Turkey's President, Recep Tayip Erdogan today, has held a telephone conversation with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, congratulating him at the Kurban Bajrami holiday.

According to the Communications Directorate's announcement to Turkey's Presidency, in addition to the conversation held with Thaci, Erdogan has also held telephone conversations with Bosnian Presidency Chairman Sefik Dzaferovic, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghan and Indonesia President Joko Wido.

Leaders have stressed their commitment to improving bilateral relations and strengthening co-operation on regional issues, the announcement says.
