Coronavirus in Albania: 6 dead and 136 new cases during 24 hours

The victims are the 53-year-old artist from Tirana Arben Bajo, also a 61-year-old from Tirana, a 62-year-old from Durres, a 76-year-old from Tirana, a 77-year-old from Pogradec and an 87-year-old from Shkodra.

Meanwhile, the geographical distribution of cases recorded with Covid-19 over 24 hours is as follows: 66 cases in Tirana, 13 in Kruja, 11 in Shkodra, 8 in Pattos, 7 in Vlora, 6 in Cavaja, out of 4 cases Kucovo, Fier, out of 2 cases Berat, Libez, Kamus, Gjirokastra, Saranda, from 1 Durres, Mirdi, Matt, Roskov, Maleser, Pecin, Grams.

Currently at Infective Hospital and “Chiefs Rudoku” are treating 112 confirmed positive patients with Covid19, 18 patients are in intensive therapy, 3 of whom are assembled.

Health Ministry statement:

During the last 24 hours in our country, 561 tests have been conducted to suspect Coved 19, where 136 people have been confirmed affected by the Tyvid 19 virus.

The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 66 cases in Tirana -- 13 cases in Kruja, 11 in Shkodra, 8 in Patos, 7 in Vlora, 6 in Kavaja, out of 4 cases Kuchova, Fier, out of 2 cases Berat, Beraz, Kamez, Gjirokastra, Saranda, from 1 case Durres, Mirdija, Matt, Roskovec, Great Male, Pecin, Grams.

During the last 24 hours, 74 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of healed persons to 3342 since the beginning of the epidemic.

Family doctors across the country are monitoring every day over a thousand active people with Covid19, who are at home.

In the two hospitals, Ovidius, in addition to the confirmed positive patients with Ovid19, are continuing to receive treatment even suspected patients, who are being treated according to relevant protocols.

Unfortunately, even after major medical teams efforts, the 53-year-old artist from Tirana has passed away. Also, two Coved hospitals have failed to win the battle with the disease -- a 61-year-old from Tirana, a 62-year-old from Durres, a 76-year-old from Tirana, a 77-year-old from Pogradce, an 87-year-old from Shkodra.
