Kosovo's Assembly failed to adopt the Law on Economic Recovery, with which withdrawals of up to 10 per cent of savings in the Pension Trust would be allowed.
And this has angered citizens who say that they are looking forward to allowing the withdrawal of the means in this crisis caused by the Devid-19 pandemic.
In a poll conducted by Kosova Prees, most citizens say in favour of withdrawing tools from the Trust.
Hakki Krasniqi, one of the citizens, thinks that the people should get some help from someone, because he appreciates that the economic situation is heavy.
I think it's good that the people are in a crisis that they're looking forward to a little help from what they want if they're theirs, they're supportive. There's a long time before the law is passed and the people get that money. Only I know people who are eagerly ambushing”, Krasniqi said.
Citizens Ismet Pacolli says attracting part of the brain's means is a good idea, since it would slightly ease the economic situation.
“E supported, but if the assembly approves it would be good to be an assistant to this pandemic crisis” said Pacolli.
Kovdet Kumnova thinks the created situation is emergency, and in such cases citizens need a lot of money which would help little in improving the economic situation.
The “people need money, the emergency situation now I don't know the measure I'm not even competent enough to add. 90% of the population need money actually well had to be”, Kumnova said.
While other citizen Sabri Hasani, coming from Switzerland, says that in Kosovo only large companies can benefit from the trust. It draws a comparison of the trust situation in Kosovo with that in Switzerland.
It's a very small amount now that it's got 100 or 105, 110 euros I don't know how much it can help me, but what's the point for big companies that have a lot of profits then they can probably help you with the current situation, I guess the idea is good, but it's going to be worth whatever it takes and who's able to pull me. Switzerland, for example. Anything you have in trust walks cash if I've had a lot of money next year is bigger, I know the brother of the coma here and here down the money”, he said.
On Friday, the Assembly failed to pass the Law on Economic Recovery, while Minister Hykmete Bajrami said it would again try to get MPs' votes for this law.
