After over 100 people spent Saturday night at the Kapshtica Border Cross before they could enter the Greek state, the same situation is repeating itself.
The quota of 300 people who can pass through this crossing was completed by 8: 30 a.m., while hundreds of others remain pending risking their arrival here. Amid high temperatures and difficult conditions, parents of young, old, and sick children are waiting in hopes of crossing the border before Monday morning.
Alongside the many challenges of concern for immigrants who have arrived since morning remains the 72 hour deadline of the buffer.
For Albanian immigrants, even though they meet all criteria set by the Greek state, it is impossible to calculate in advance whether they are within the quota of 300 people who can cross the border that leads them to begin travel and face numerous challenges right on customs territory. /tch
