Bekim Jashari steps out that the Special Law will be changed, there's a message for politicians

In an interview for KosovoPress, he speaks of this request that the previous day has been addressed to the legislature's deputies and of the invitation the Special has made to the country's president, Hashim Thaci.

The mayor of the Skyeraj municipality requires unity from all political parties in terms of national themes, as according to him, it is the last time to do so together in solving the problems facing the country.

Jashar does not believe that Kosovo Assembly deputies will advance the initiative for changing the Special Law, and adds that his desire is for the initiative to gain support because according to him all acters must judge.

Yasar: Supports the initiative to amend the Special Court (Video) bill

“Hopes are small by seeing the current situation that can move forward and there are changes. My wish is to have the support and the idea of changing the Special Court Bill. Even at first I was critical of this court, not because the Special Court should deal with the crimes in Kosovo, but why only with Albanians, why only with members of the Kosovo Liberation Army, why not with all the acts regardless of ethnicity, with all those who have evidence of committing crimes... Are we trying to clean up such a thing, then all the acters should be involved and not divide”, Jashar said.

Yasar has criticised those who, according to him, enjoyed the fact that President Hashim Thaci, or president of Kadri Wessel's PDK has received an invitation for an interview by the Special Court. He says the struggle for freedom has been the common cause, so unity is needed on this issue even 21 years after the end of the war.

We dare not make such statements, and how much more so do similar acts of personal resentment, to rejoice over why they called Special Court Blessing. He says that on national issues such as the Special Court or dialogue with Serbia, Kosovo politicians must be unique.

We have the opportunity today, and I hope that we will not tolerate the international community and all the more friendly states we have in the EU, and especially the U.S., so I don't believe they'll tolerate us making jokes with the international community today, but I want to and not tomorrow. These are processes that must be over, because they too are tired of us”, Jashar said.

According to Jashar, special invitation to President Thaci will affect the Kosovo issue with Serbia on the negotiating table.

I believe he is, because he is the host of the house and he is the one who has been through these talks. However, if we are united, if a moment is lacking in bliss, there are others, if we all stay, I'm under obligation, I'm not in that position, let the blessing do what it wants. Days ago, war-launched organisations have handed over in the Kosovo Assembly the requirement for changing the Law for the Special Court. According to them, the Special should also deal with Serbia and the crimes committed by Serbs in Kosovo.
