Bac, done! Kosovar completes Adam Yasar giant sculpture in Vienna

The hammer and the exits with which he had carved the giant stone for months had ceased to work. The stone sculpture with plys on its head and open mouth from which our national hero Adam Yasar draws fire and smoke is finished. It is now found in the courtyard of the Albanian sculptor's home in Austria, Dentan [...]
To make a stone sculpture of Adam Yashhar's image, Dean Gashi was a constant dream. But he always wanted something new, something that has not been accomplished so far. He wanted that work to have a message, to be done with spirit and heart. Tonelates and stone size well showed the weight that hero Adam Yashhar has in the heart of sculptor Gashi. And that was done. She's in his garden for days now.
Albinfo Austria visited the home of sculptor Dean Gashi in Vienna and looked closely at the size of the work accomplished.
All the work is not based on any photograph. Everything is born of the artist's imagination, Dean Gashi. „In my imagination were embedded the last moments of Adam Jashar, when he figuratively had the white pliss on his head and when he confronted the enemy, smoke and flame from his mouth“, Destan Gashi says of Albinfo Austria.
By the time of the pandemic, in his apartment, Dean Gashi had picked up some clay and started making a sketch. The clay sketch had proved to be beautiful and original. Based on that sketch, he then ordered the stone and started his work. For about four months of daily work and non-stop until I've lived the way it is. It's the greatest pleasure I've ever had in my career. I have experienced no fatigue, I was willing to work day and night. Perhaps because before myself I had a magnificent figure, a legend of our history and our nation, I had a great name: ADEM JASARI“, Destan Gashi says, showing his love for the hero and sacrifice of Adem Yasar for the homeland.
The sculpture of Adam Jashar, the masterpiece of Dastan Gashi
Scultor Dean Gashi has worked on other works which are also warm for him, such as: Rosafa's newborn boy, but that's his ID and his masterpiece.
Everything I've had inside I've poured into this sculpture. It's worked out with a lot of love, heart, soul...“
The stone on which the image of Adam Jashar was carved is of the muffy (Sandstein) is a stone from Burgenland. Sculpture weighs 1.2. The heavy tunnel, measuring 13 feet [1 m] in width, is 1.2 feet [1.1 m] high.
However, Dastan Gashi's wish is for this sculpture to live in his backyard in the village of Zeqna in the municipality of Rahoveci. But his dream isn't over here. In my head and mind, it is already the same image of Adam Jashar to be worked by the red sandstone of six tons, he says.
Interested ones who want to see for close, that Adam Jashar's sculpture but also sculptures and other works, Dastan, along with his wife, painter, Barbara Gashi, will open exhibitions from 5-18 September.
