AGK for Vetevendosje television: Policy Service Propaganda

The Association of Kosovo Journalists (AGK), with concern, acknowledges the opening of new online television, TVV, led by the political party Vetevendosje.

The establishment of a TV medium by a political party is harmful to media freedom. Such a form of television operation is not journalism.

For the opening of TVV by the Vetevendosje Movement, the European Federation of Journalism has also reacted through a news card published on the University social network.

The new online TVV television division in Kosovo is created directly by a political party. This isn't journalism. This is propaganda in the service of politicians”, said the federation's response.

AGK joins the EFJ response, stressing that opening such television is harmful and unacceptable to media freedom and a democratic state.
