80m euros less invested in Kosovo customs

Kosovo Customs spokesman Adriatic Stavileci has said and customs is going through a difficult year.

Stavileci has announced that, so far, customs has raised about 620m euros.

Until today, customs has collected around 620m euros, which, if compared to the preliminary period, are less than 12 per cent than last year, which amounts to about 80m euros less registered”, he said of the channel 10.

He says that during this time, there has largely been more imports than exports.

It's interesting that even though we're going through a period of pandemic, we've had a 13 percent export increase, so our producers have managed to find a market to sell their products”, Stavileci reports.

And import in general has seen a decline.

“compared to last year we have about 200m euros less worth of products imported from other countries”, Stavileci said.
