Over the last 24 hours, 561 tests have been conducted, with 139 people confirmed infected.
The geographical distribution of positive daily cases is as follows: 81 cases in Tirana, 10 in Berat, 8 in Durres, 7 in Tropoj, 6 in Elbasan, etc.
During the last 24 hours, 69 citizens have been healed, bringing their total number to 3123 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Currently in Infective Hospital and “Chiefs Ndkoqi” are treating 110 patients where 21 of them are in intensive therapy, 6 of whom patients gathered.
Also in two hospitals, COVID 1 and COVID 2, except for positive patients, continue to receive visually suspected patients as affected by COVID-19, which are being treated according to protocols from our medical teams in two hospitals.
Even after major medical teams' efforts, unfortunately, have failed to win the battle with the disease in two COVID-19 hospitals, a 58-year-old from Durres, a 70-year-old from Kruja, and an 82-year-old from Shijak. They have not won the battle, a 63-year-old from Kukesi, a 64-year-old from Shkodra, a 69-year-old from Elbasan.
Since the outbreak of pandemic in Albania has conducted 43764 tests, out of them 5889 positive, 3123 have healed, 2589 are active cases and 182 dead.
