Chairman The PDK, Kadri Veselini, has recalled the day when the International Court of Justice reaffirmed the legitimacy of Kosovo's declaration of independence.
He writes:
10 years ago, the international subjectivity of the independent state of Kosovo was sealed on February 17th 2008. JND reaffirmed the absolute legitimacy of this effort.
Our people's will, the righteous war of the Kosovo Liberation Army for freedom and international intervention to stop Serbia's ethnic genocide of the people of Kosovo was prolonged in the Declaration of Independence, establishing the forever lacking peace and justice.
Today, the Republic of Kosovo has an open road to membership in the UN, NATO and the EU.
