Mr. Bahtiri has said he is asking BIK for Mitrovica believers to pray in Mitrovica Square, Periskopi follows.
He has said Mitrovica is willing to make all the necessary preparations for the prayer of Bajram to be done with social distance, mask transport and disinfectant material.
In this form he has put BIK under pressure, which is under pressure from the Government of Kosovo. If BIK gives such a way, then it is possible that this will happen in other municipalities seriously endangering the public health of Coddy-19.
Full status:
After the published news of the detention of the Kurban Bayram Prayer in the mosque, I have today addressed the Mufti of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, Naim Ternava, with a request for a review of the possibility of allowing forgiveness in Mitrovica Square.
So, as a municipal institution in co-operation with the BIK branch in Mitrovica, we are willing to make all necessary preparations so that the forgiveness of the Kurbam Bajrami Prayer can be organised in Mitrovica Square by respecting the recommendations of the IKSP for maintaining the 1.5m social distance through the setting of points, wearing masks and disinfecting materials.
Dear citizens of Mitrovica, I think this is also your request and I hope to be seriously examined by BIK.
With respect,
Agim Bahtiri
Mitrovica municipality chairman
