Vjosa Osmani expresses condolences for Hajrullah Gorani's death

In her telegram sent to the Gorani family, among other things the Speaker of the Parliament, has said Professor Harjulah Gorani will be remembered with respect.

With pain we received the news of a prof-life separation. Hajrullah Gorani, the man who devoted his entire life to education, workers' rights, as well as to realising Albanians' aspirations for freedom. Prof. Gorani was especially distinguished during the years of resistance to freedom, in the years BAR90, when he headed the Kosovo Workers' Union and thus became part of peaceful resistance against the Serbian regime. Prof. Gorani died mobilizing Albanian trade unions and workers in strikes to protect their rights and freedoms and exercised civic disobedience to Serbia's oppressive laws in Kosovo.
He managed to mobilise workers and all of the Albanian people on the popular strike of Albanian workers against violent measures in earlyness, BAR90.
We will remember Mr. President with respect. Gorani. At this moment we pray for Professor Goran's soul and share the pain with his family and friends”, says the telegram.
