The Vetevendosje of alongside the Budget Bill

The Vetevendosje Movement will not support the draft law on fulfilling and changing the Law on budgetary divisions for the Kosovo Republic budget for 2020.

That is what Iron Murati has made known when he spoke on behalf of the Parliamentary Group of the Vetevendosje Movement.

The “in March of this year when the Budget Law was passed is evident that there were certain shortcomings because we had time limitations. At the time, the first cases infected in Kosovo were announced, as well as we had a budget that in most projects and codes was blocked in advance by the PAN Government. The idea has been that with all those shortcomings, it was an emergency situation and in review to fix those shortcomings. We see that the defects are much higher in this revision, there are objections to the laws in force, as well as the structure that has been used is the wrong practice”.

“Which is exactly how it is for us is unacceptable, because we consider that the Assembly should not sign check-blanco. The government whenever it requires approval of the budget in this country must demonstrate with accuracy and responsibility for every cent where it will be spent. We as a Parliamentary Group do not support this bill”.

He has said the position is trying to condition the opposition to vote on all initiatives by rationalising payments to citizens from the economic recovery Pako.

It is to regret that the illegal government's lack of votes and non-legimes will try and throw a burden on the opposition's back to secure these votes. We all remember that we've been in this place in past plenary sessions when the deficit issue is addressed. This government has been asked to allow the growth of the deficit border and we are told that all it takes is to vote so that 170 euros can be paid for citizens. The Assembly, despite our opposition, approved permission to exceed the deficit and payments did not happen. Votes were required, calls were called and manipulated with citizens that only if we vote that requirement are payments made. Even now it is said that both this bill and international agreements are being linked to fees for citizens. Some are going by and some are not, but citizens are not looking at payments”.
