Telekom board says agreement has been reached with Devulles and debt writeter for suspension

Kosovo Telecom Directors' interim <x0nd Board, appointed days ago by the Government of Kosovo, provides for its dedication, work without prejudice and patience, with all sides in the process -- the Kosovo Telekom and with numerous creditors who are interested in fully consolidating the company. In this process the Board is empowered with the unwilling support of the shareholder -- namely, the Ministry of the Order and Government of the Republic of Kosovo” -- says in the announcement, until it becomes known that the New Board has analysed the corporate's emergency, operational situation and immediately as emergency measures met the biggest lenders and the owner, seeking from the lenders the consensus for the current Kosovo Telecom.

Kosovo Telecom's temporary <x0ndod, led by Mehmet Berisha, has reached reconciliation for suspending the completion of Telekom's means for an unassigned deadline, until the economic situation of this public company is stabilised. Thus, in separate conversations, with creditors as well as the Private Master and with ATK representatives, arrangements were reached to unlock bank accounts. The Tax Administration has agreed on modalisations of the agreement, while restructuring/reprogramming of other debts will take place the following months following the stabilisation of the financial situation”, the report said.
