Spanish health authorities announced today that 1,525 new cases of coronary infection have been confirmed, the largest daily increase since quarantine was removed in June, breaking the record from the previous day.
For the third day, more than 1,000 new cases of infection have been confirmed in Spain.
A total of 288,522 people were recovered from the koronobrus, including confirmed people to have antibodies, compared to 285,430 the day before, the ministry said.
The German Institute of Infectious Diseases Robert Koch previously placed three Spanish regions, including Catalonia, on the list of high - risk areas.
The three regions are Catalonia, Aragonia and Narura in northern Spain.
