The United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution today that requires the end of conflicts worldwide in order to facilitate the fight against the coronary pandemic.
The resolution, which was voted in writing, was jointly proposed by France and Tunisia, which immediately praised its approval.
Some experts suspect the resolution will be implemented after it was proposed several months ago, and this, as they estimate, has affected the fall of the Security Council's credibility.
The resolution, which has been blocked for months by China and the United States because of conflicting views on the role of the World Health Organisation (OBSH) mentioned in a version of the text, is part of support for UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres' ceasefire appeal.
The text requires a <x0-second general and immediate” of the world's conflicts, in addition to conflicts against jihadist groups.
