President Thaci commemorates Demach: Proud of having the honor of cooperating with him

Thaci has named Demac a man of European and global sizes.

“ADEM DEMACI is the name and surname of Kosovo's national and political conscience of the second half of the 20th century. It is the name of the man who sacrificed his talent, youth and manhood for life, raising his voice against the invasion of Kosovo from Yugoslavia, from the state of Serbia”, he has said, respectively.

With successive imprisonments, Adem Demaci became a symbol of our national consciousness, becoming an inspiration for many generations on the road to Kosovo's freedom and independence. Adem Demach was a political prisoner who, with a high conscience, enduring, and permanent consistency, did not move a moment from his life - style. His name personifies the best values of the lyrical soul of the nation that belonged to him, but also those of the universal values of culture, tolerance and love of mankind.”, he adds.

“I am proud to have had the fortune to work and co-ordinate many political actions and attitudes with Adem Demac as the top political representative of the Kosovo Liberation Army in 1998 1999. A nation may be small in number, but it's great when it brings out a man of European and world sizes. Adam Demach's name is eternal, just as the ideal and dream of freedom, just as Kosovo of all generations that were, are and will come.”, he concludes.
