LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa has said that the July 2nd 1990 Declaration marks one of the most important events of Kosovo's citizenship and paves the way for Kosovo's secession from the Serbian regime, and opened the way to our people's intentions for the natural right to the creation of our state.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the July 2nd Declaration, the first of the LDK expressed gratitude to the delegates at the time for the courage and determination that even in those difficult times with Serbian automatic barrels on top, they did not stop seeking freedom, and our country's independence.
The July 2nd 1990 “Declaration marks one of the most important events of Kosovo citizenship. It paved the way for Kosovo's secession from the Serbian regime, and opened the way for Kosovo's people's goals of freedom, equality, and, at the most, natural right to the creation of our state. After three decades, we are grateful to the timely delegates for the courage and determination that even in those difficult times with Serbian automatic barrels on top, they do not stop seeking freedom, and our country's independence. The Constitutional Declaration of July 2nd 1999 is the cornerstone of Kosovo's citizenship and independence, so we should always remember it as a bright page for our state”, Mustafa said.
