MPs vote in separate boxes to ensure representation of women aboard COST

Unable to continue the session yesterday, Kosovo Assembly deputies have gathered this Friday. With seven points in order of the day, the people's elected are expected by vote to resolve a set of issues.
The selection of members of the board of directors of the Public Company Operator System, Transition and Market (KOST) was implemented by gender equality envisioned in the Law for Public Enterprises. As in separate boxes MPs are voting for both genders to ensure the presence of women on this board.
This by Vetevendosje Movement MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila was named a day of progress for Kosovo.
The “today will be voted on separate lists to ensure gender equality in a stock company in Kosovo, Cost. What needs to be highlighted for each of us, especially the women we need to remind of each of our obligations to the girls and women outside this hall. Citizens of Kosovo who have the right to be represented and elected. Today is a moment worth emphasising on as a moment of progress for Kosovo... today we have two separate boxes to ensure that women are represented on the board of a company for action”, she said.
The candidates who are aiming to be aboard the COSTT are: Krasniqi, Jeton Mehmeti, Ali Hamiti, Nelus Zariqi, Spring Doburna-Mehmeti, Saramda-Sadriu-Mehemti, Xhavit Buzhala, Ibrahim Krasniqi, Xhelosh Vataj, Ajrena Gashi, Arben Dodaj and Mydyti Hymet.
