On the streets “The Queen Teute”, “Shemsi Ahmeti”, “Bendri Gyne” and at Iber River artificial lake, photos of Thaci and Wessel were seen, with the description “Deliverer, Mitrovica is with you!” Likewise, billboards [...]
Numerous neighborhoods in Mitrovica today are packed with billboards in support of former KLA leaders Hashim Thaci and Kadri Wessel.
On the streets “The Queen Teute”, “Shemsi Ahmeti”, “Bendri Gyne” and at Iber River artificial lake, photos of Thaci and Wessel were seen, with the description “Deliverer, Mitrovica is with you!”
Likewise, similar billboards, though it seems to be with civic self-organization, not with similar messages, are being seen in other Kosovo municipalities.
An unconfirmed indictment of war crimes has been filed against Thaci and Wessel.
