The parliamentary investigative commission on management of the pandemic caused by the Coronavirus has not yet begun concrete work with investigations or even interviewing persons who allegedly during the time of pandemic, as long as the Kurti Government was, there has been inadequate dismanagement of the situation.
The commission has so far met twice and is expected to meet again this week.
MPs from the Kosovo Assembly have even voiced doubts that there were abuses of public money at the time.

The commission was formed on 4 June at the request of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, and is aimed at researching, consisting, clarifying what happened and determining the responsibility of those involved in managing the status of pandemic by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Commission, during its mandate, has envisioned the performance of work in three key phases of investigations, assessment of investigations, and preparation of a final report to be presented in the Assembly.
The chairman of this commission, MP Mimoza Kusari '% Lila, a member of the Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group, told Radio Free Europe that after the assessments to come and investigations, it would be understood which decisions were right and which decisions were wrong.
The first <x0mes have been reported to the guest list, is a rather large list filled with officials of different levels, from the political level as the former prime minister to the level of experts who will be invited to the commission for interviews in relation to government decisions made in the management of pandemic”, Kusari Lila said.
Bekim Haxhiu, a member of the commission from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, considers that the commission's work is not continuing as he put it, by the very negligence of the chairman of this commission.
Haxhiu points out that allegations of mismanagement during the pandemic are based.
“Doubts are based on malmanagement during the time that pandemic also in Kurti government, but that even in the event of misappropriations even in the Hoti government, there is no one who can get even. No perpetrators will be adopted. Also misuses and purchases of abuses and drugs during the pandemic era should receive an answer”, Haxhiu said.
During the investigation phase, it is said the commission will conduct collection of evidence through providing documents by relevant institutions.
Government actions, management and operation of the Carantina Centre will be viewed and investigated, as well as the establishment, management and operation of the Centre of Students declared <x0) quarantined”, including the list of accepted and released persons from this centre and health services.
Also investigated will be the case of student Agon Musliu's tragic death. The commission's action plan also says that the measures and actions taken by the Kosovo government to exact damages in the field of economy and employment will be seen.
This commission will engage field experts to make the assessment and comparison of the pandemic situation in several other states, similar to the demographic structure and the level of Kosovo development.
However, even though this commission has not yet begun to act properly because of the pandemic situation, demands have been issued that the commission's work should be expanded and the actions and decisions of the current government be investigated.
The “on the commission has been laid down and, of course, as reasonable it has been argued that the demand that should be continued with the investigation process even in the Hoti government, for the fact that the picture of pandemic and the greatest number of cases, but also deaths have occurred in the government”, said Kusari Lila.

But, member of this commission from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Ilir Ferati, told Radio Free Europe, that the commission's actions should be respected legal provisions and should not be thought in other forms of expanding competencies.
He also said there should be no prejudice over the actions of the current government ministers that they could make cases of parliamentary investigations.
The question is that the provisions and laws in effect on the investigative commissions correctly determine that the commission's scope could be expanded only with the initiative's proposal. If the initiative does not propose or reconcile with expanding the scopes, the chairman of the commission cannot expand the scope, either back in time or move forward for the current government Hoti”, Ferati said.
The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, at the plenary session on 4 June, with MP Eliza Hoxha's proposal from the opposition Democratic Party of Kosovo, which other MPs backed, had made a decision to establish the Hetimor Commission. For establishing this commission, 74 MPs had voted.
