Health Minister Amend Zemaj hosted the Chairman of the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK), Mufti Naim Trnava, who was accompanied by the Parliament, Sabri Bajgora.
At this meeting, Minister Zemaj expressed thanks for the commitment of Kosovo's Islamic Community to supporting institutions to maintain public health in the face of the Devivar-19 pandemic.
Minister Zemaj and Mufti Ternava praised co-operation between institutions, BIK and citizens as very important in order to implement the measures taken, in the function of preventing the further spread of Covid-19 and protecting from this infection.
Mftiu Ternava said BIK and its advice have been very committed to helping institutions and populations implement the measures taken knowing the great importance of each one's contribution to maintaining the health and well-being of the population.
Minister Zemaj and Mufti Ternava call on the population to take maximum care by responding to the implementation of measures undertaken by the Government and IKSHPK recommendations to safeguard itself and others at this time of the challenge with the Deved-19 pandemic.
