Kosovo University Clinical Hospital Service Director Valbon Krasniqi's task manager, in a proposal for IndexOnline, has said that the situation currently is disturbing in our country, and that for this blame remains with citizens, whom he has said they are still not respecting enough recommendations of health professionals in the country.
He has said that everyone should understand that the situation is serious, so we should also respect the guidelines of health professionals, wearing the mask, keeping the distance and hygiene personal.
“After all odds are still not being respected to the proper extent the recommendations that have been given for now five months by health professionals in terms of preventive measures, we need to be very transparent and honest with all, this situation is extremely serious, it's heavy for health professionals and for themselves the health system, which is overloaded with the large number of hospital cases”, Krasniqi told IndexOnline.
Krasniqi has further said that unfortunately not having an efficient shepherd or vaccine fighting this virus is the only way to protect from this virus, which in Kosovo has taken its life according to the 185-person IKKKPk report.
And if these measures are to be implemented on the part of citizens, then the situation can be eased.
Krasniqi has at no moment concealed his concern and all health personnel, who are facing the corona virus directly.
He has said that KKUK has 700 to 750 beds available for all affected by Covis-19.
But if all of these beds are filled up then according to Krasniqi, the other patients who are located at QKUK and who do not suffer from Covid-19, will be endangered by other diseases.
“We have said we have made available some 700 to 750 beds currently, but if these spaces are filled, we have to release other beds, but let's not forget that all of Kosovo is not vivid-19 and patients have other diseases and need other services, and we need to maintain basic basic services. Therefore, any need to increase the beds capacity for Ovidius is seriously jeopardising the health system, is jeopardising other non-visus” services, Krasniqi stressed for IndexOnline.
He has once again invited all citizens to respect the seriousness of the situation we are in, to respect and apply the recommendations given for months.
Otherwise only yesterday in Kosovo, there were 276 new cases with Avid-19, while the virus became responsible for the deaths of 8 people within 24 hours. /
