Over 1500 residents of Pristina's Veternik neighbourhood will receive much more quality energy services. There, already most of the 50-year-old network has been modernised.
Tens of new concrete pillars have replaced the old wooden pillars that were barely held on foot. Thousands of meters of cables have changed at the same time. After the completion of the project, all the old pillars will be demonstrated.
The new network has also increased safety for residents. They have welcomed KED investments until they are very pleased with the work done.
I've been here for 15 years. We've brought this current with our wings at that time, all of us, the first time that it was listed and it was, this neighborhood enjoyed this current. That's... it's a better ski where you're going to call”, said Zymer Ademi, resident of the Veternik neighbourhood.
Just as Zymer said, Musley Bunnjak, who said these investments made by KEDS have increased security and improved electricity supply. The satisfied “are 200 per cent of these investments, which KED is doing. We were surprised to see them replace the gang without coming to the neighborhood and calling them. We have applied before KEDS, but no one took me with us at”, said Bunjak, who is also resident of this neighbourhood.
By the end of this investment, over 100 pillars and over 7,000m cables will be placed.
This KED investment enables the energy situation for these consumers, which so far has had major electricity problems, to improve significantly in this neighbourhood.
KED, since the privatisation of the distribution, has made many investments in Kosovo's power grid system, and this has significantly affected the quality and supply of regular electricity.
