The Kosovo Hospital and University Clinic Hospital Service Steering Board reports that at the meeting held today, July 6, 2020, it has decided to fire Dr. Basri Sejdiu general director of the Kosovo Hospital Service and University Clinic. Instead of Dr. Sejdiu, the director's task officer has been appointed Dr. Valbon Krasniqi, an infecology specialist.
And Sejdiu's dismissal comes as a result of displete performance and not fulfilling tasks.
Dr. Valbon is infected while recently engaged in working groups fighting COVID-19.
And the dismissal is due to counterproductive performance and failure to fulfill tasks.
Even the National Auditing Office in its report has found serious violations in budget spending. The audience has found that QKUK has spent over 58 thousand euros on the purchase of IT equipment worth individual to under 1,000 euros.
