Hoti: US, EU must complement each other in dialogue

Hoti here has talked about dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia that has resumed after the Paris Summit.

The first of Kosovo's government said the United States and the European Union should complement each other in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.

When the role of the European Union and the US in this process is in question, they must complement each other. Just as it has been in the past, during the various stages of Kosovo's citizenship and the declaration of independence, only when we have had close co-operation between the EU and the US, we have had clear and concrete results, and we need to be different this time neither.”

He added that finalisation of the talks should be made with mutual recognition.

Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, have kept video conference organised by European Union for Foreign Policy chief Josep Borrell, with the goal of restarting the dialogue, which had been suspended since November 2018, following the 100% tax imposed by Haradinaj Government.
Vuciq and Hoti are expected to meet in Brussels on Thursday.
