Haxhiu: Following Constitutional Decision, Government to Raise Salaries of All Health Professionals

Haxhiu is essential for the Government of Kosovo, with the decision to increase the salaries of all health professionals, to the approval of the Law on Salaries in the Public Sector.

“After the Constitutional Court of Kosovo has declared the Law on Salaries in the Public Sector invalid.
Health professionals' salaries should be raised by Government's decision, as provided by the Law of Salaries in the Public Sector by improving the co-efficietor and midwife”, Haxhiu wrote on Facebook.

For the functioning of the public health system and preservation of the medical framework in Kosovo today, it is necessary that the Government of Kosovo, with the decision, increase the salaries of all health professionals, to the approval of the Law on Salat in the Public Sector.

The government must proceed as soon as possible to the Convention on Salaries in the Public Sector in order to improve and vote in the Assembly, to enable the implementation of the new Law of Salaries as of the date 01.01.2021, because preparations in the payment system are now complete.

The government, together with the Parliament, must speed up work to resolve the situation created.
