Faith in an interview for RTK has also spoken of the sensitivity the people of Kosovo have for the war part of 98-99 until it stressed that it reasons the people of Kosovo who are proud of what the KLA's fighters have accomplished.
I saw the statement, but I didn't see any charges. I am unaware of any charges against President Thaci, Kadri Veselin and others. So it's hard for me to judge this or give any impression of what's involved here. But I know that whatever has to do with the war during the years of 1998 99 in Kosovo is very sensitive to the people of Kosovo”, he said.
“Brenda Kosovo, Prime Minister Thaci, along with my office, have worked on implementing the provisions of Ahtisaari's package, which they agreed on before Kosovo was independent and was the basis in the period of oversurrection. One of the provisions, in fact, one of the key provisions was to respect the rights of the Serb community within Kosovo and in that respect we have achieved certain things. Including the establishment of municipalities and the connection of northern Kosovo with Pristina as well as ensuring that Kosovo Serb citizens are represented in various institutions and agencies”, Feith stressed.
It is important that each individual take responsibility for acts and acts committed during the war period, and in this respect I think that the step taken by President Thaci to meet with prosecutors in The Hague is to be applauded and should be encouraged to continue working with the Tribunal because in this way Kosovo can free itself of the charges and whatever may have happened during the”, he said.
