The National Institute of Public Health and the Health Ministry have accepted 60,000 tests, 67 thousand masks, 90 beds and other equipment worth 800 thousand euros.
EU chief in Kosovo Nataliya Apostolova on the occasion of accepting the handover of this donation, announced that next week the EU will bring Kosovo health donations and ventilation.
She said she is proud that the EU has managed to assist Kosovo, which does not have a health system prepared if there is greater spread of pandemic.
While ordering the measures recommended by the IKSHP to be respected, Apostolova said citizens are not respecting distance and wearing the mask and thus jeopardizing others
Health Minister Armend Zemaj said they are making sure that the distribution of donations goes where it needs to.
The first Kosovo health appeal was to respect the measures.
While, the director of IKSHP's Nasser Ramadani said that today they accepted tests and other sanitation tools that would help them.
Thankful for this donation was USKKUK Director Basri Sejdiu, who said friends are helping Kosovo cope with difficult days.
