A German pastor confirmed as the first case of coronavirus to dogs has recently died in the United States.
Seven - year - old Buddy began breathing problems in mid - April when even his owner had been sick with coronary for three weeks. The dog also had cancer.
His owners, Robert and Allison Mahoney of Staten Island, told National Geographic that the dog was eliminated after it started coughing with blood.
Allison Mahoney said Buddy “had brought joy to all”. Whether Buddy died of coronary complications or of the cancer he suffered from.
A veterinarian test released Buddy in May positive with Coronavirus.
When you tell people you have a dog with a coronary, they look like you have seven heads. Later, when he coughed, he looked like he would pull his underwear out of both his mouth and his nose”, Mahoney said.
The U.S. administration says there is currently no scientific evidence that animals play a significant role in the spread of the coronary. The U.S. data on the coronavirus in animals reports 12 dogs, 10 cats, a tiger and a lion.
Nadia, the four-year-old tiger in the Bronx Zoo, proved positive with Covid-19 in April.
