The director of the WHO Office in Kosovo, Isme Humolli, has said that increasing the number of cases with Ovid-19 has been expected, but not to this extent as it is happening in Kosovo.
In the special edition in Klan Kosova, she has said relevant institutions should be prepared and compile strategies because pandemic can last one to two years.
“shouldn't be a scientific study to see what's happening. The increase in the number of cases has been expected after the release of the measures, but not to this extent as it is happening in Kosovo. What is happening is related to disrespecting measures that are alpha and omega in preventing disease”.
This is not happening in Kosovo ) it is not noticing a citizens' neglect and the recommendations of the relevant 48x1> institutions are not being respected.
“Cavid-19 is characterized by a scale of spread and with a high level of infectiousness that's why it spreads so fast. If we fail to take precautions, growth is immediately”.
According to her, any departure from the recommended measures affects the increasing number of cases as is happening in Kosovo.
“The measures may not be delayed, but in time when the release of the measures has been made, it has had to be required by cafe owners and citizens to keep their physical distance and” masks.
I can't say it's a state failure given that there are huge shortcomings in the laws in power, especially in terms of punishments. A decision is made by the MSH and is immediately called unconstitutional. This is causing ambivalence over which decisions should respect Kosovo citizens”.
“This is a situation that is not expected to end quickly, at least expected to last 1 to two years”
There will be no normality like before Coddy-19. This will be linked to setting measures and distance. I too have had a hard time wearing my mask, but after a short time, we get used to it”.
