On October 1, 2018, Qazim Canman was found guilty by the Constitutional Court in Pristina for the criminal act of misusing official office or authority.
For this criminal offence, which is introduced under criminal acts of official corruption, Candor was sentenced to six months in prison.
With his consent, however, his prison sentence had then been replaced with fines of 3,000 euros. Likewise, Cantonman was obliged to return the Ministry of Labour and Social Management (MPMS) and the amount of 4,858.89 euros.
To the act of the Foundation, Candor had not complained to the Court of Appeals at all. Such a thing has made it known to “Justice Trust”, the information official at the Court of Appeals, Arber Jashar.
“We did not accept any such complaint”, Jashar's response to the addressed question about whether he had accepted Uniman's appeal.
Thus, after declaring the sentence in the first instance and not appealing it to the Appeals, the punishment for Candor had taken a definite form.
And the fact that Cantman was convicted of corruption, just as long as he was deputy minister at the MPMS, seems to have not prevented Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti from calling him deputy minister again.
This time around, Candorman has been named deputy minister in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MKRS). Such a position, according to his biography published also on the MKRS official page, Canthman turns out to have been practicing it during 2016-2017.
Even on the MKRS official page, the Niteman already figures as one of the deputy ministers of this ministry, where minister from the LDK ranks has been appointed Vlora Doshori.
