The US State Department has provided support for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue mediated by the European Union.
“We are happy that the European Union has organised meetings between Serbia and Kosovo, and we offer full support”, it is highlighted in the written response of the State Department spokesman.
Asked by the Voice of America about continuing Kosovo- Serbia after more than 20 months, he has said their goal is an agreement on the comprehensive normalisation of reports between the two countries.
“Normisation is essential to ensuring the progress and security of the Western Balkans” has been responded.
Kosovo-Serbia dialogue facilitated by the EU has continued on 16 July in Brussels after about 20 months.
It was suspended in November 2018 when the Haradinaj government imposed a 100 per cent tax on Serbian and Bosnian goods.
