“As many as 150 municipalities have asked permission to launch pilot plans for restaurants and churches, and nearly half of the permits have been granted”, Deputy Interior Minister Daniel Palacios, quoted by Radio “National”.
In addition to restaurants and churches, the conservative government of President Ivan Duque has allowed gradual reopening of theatres and gyms.
Bars and discotheques will stay closed.
